My friend Natasha and I were in charge of caring for two puppies no larger than two balls of fur before they were auctioned off at an MS fundraiser. As fate would have it, one of them was not adopted, and after the fundraiser, I decided to take him home. That decision has since made me feel like the luckiest guy in the world. Winston taught me to deal with my fear of commitment, to be patient, to love unconditionally and to not let anger and stress overwhelm me. He is loving and affectionate no matter what. Winston brought me happiness and peace at a time when I most needed it. He is the light in my life.
