Spikie lived at a house his brother Rex. Deprived of food and water, their teeth were ground down from eating rocks. Yet they stayed in the front yard of this house, there was nowhere else to go. Kids would entice them over with the promise of food and then hit them. Rex was hit by a car and his broken leg was left to heal by itself until one day a Rescue organization stepped in. Spikie and his brother Rex were liberated. Rex got a $4,000 operation on his leg and didn't limp any longer, and Spikie lived to a ripe old age. They to sleep on fluffy beds and both got eat as much as they wanted.
