When her litter was one week old, Soxie's mother tried to jump a fence looking for food. She got her choke chain caught in the fence and strangled to death. I took the box of six puppies. Bottle feeding every two hours, lost one of the dear puppies, but the others kept going, getting stronger. Five made it. I was able to place them all into fabulous homes but kept Soxie. I know will lose him soon, but just knowing him was so worth all those days and nights of exhausted bottle feeding eighteen years ago.
