ROSALIE
I rescued Rosalie from the Brittany Foundation. She was only a year old when she mysteriously died. It was as if she came into my life to point the way towards my true calling. I made myself promise to use my talents to contribute to the welfare of animals. Out of my devastation and grief came a vision for this project and I began to work on a book of portraits of dogs rescued from the streets and from shelters. She was my first picture of a dog.
