I only had my new puppy, a miniature Dachshund named Zoe, for a few months before I realized she needed a playmate. I was interested in rescuing a brother or sister for her, so I started searching several rescue sites. It didn't take long to find the new pup that belonged in our home. There he was-a chocolate and tan Doxie mix. couldn't wait to meet this little guy! The rescue worker brought him over to our house and from the moment I saw him, knew he'd be a perfect fit-and so did Zoe-and so he was, bad breath and all
