My daughter Carly begged me to go see the puppies at an adoption program. Across the way sat a beautiful gentle soul. When approached, he jumped up at me and stared into my eyes. I WAS GONE! My immediate thought was how to convince my husband to take in another dog. I opened the door and he ran across, straight into the pool with our dog Sadie. My husband said, "WHAT WAS THAT?" By morning he was hooked! Max was so loving and so wise. I can't imagine him never being in our lives.
