My children wanted a dog badly. The same week, one of my pupils came to tell me that her dog had had a litter of puppies. I took is as a sign and we committed to take one. Unfortunately, all of the puppies died. Devastated, my children and I went to local shelters to adopt a dog. Hard to please all my children all at once, we went home to sleep on it, and that same night my mother-in-law called us to say that her friends dog just had a litter. The next day we went to check them out, and we fell in love with Bulle, who came home with us.
