I rescued Brutis from a breeder in Utah. He was going to be put down because of his severe hip dysplasia. I paid to have him flown to my facility in LA, where I then had a huge sale at my furniture store to fund his surgery. I drove to San Diego to have the surgery preformed. He went in unable to walk, and walked out on his own the next day! He was my peace and serenity for a beautiful eight years. His was the shortest lived breed, But one I would not trade for anything. On my mantle are his ashes, as well as the stainless steel implants that saved his life. God bless his soul.
