When she was a tiny puppy, Betty Lou was left at a veterinarians office with the very serious illness, Parvo. The people who left her had given instructions for her to be put to sleep as they couldn’t afford the cure. The vet showed her to me, and I couldn’t stand the idea of her being put down. I came up with the funds to pay the doctor and took her home. What a joy she has been everyday I’ve had her. She is now seventeen years old!
